Commissioned Work
Commissions are available, if you don’t see something available that you like or have something special in mind for someone, I enjoy working on commissions and the srories that go with them.

A man commissioned me to make this as a surprise for his wife who is a heart surgeon and a quilter. Together we came up with a basic idea and then I rolled with it. This is the final piece, entitled “For the Love of Quilting.” I felt a little like a quilter while I was making it too!
This piece was made for a man who is a collector of Kim Hamblins. It’s fun meeting people who have bought some of my work and see it hanging in thier house! He saw a different anatomical horse piece and liked it, but it had sold, so he asked me to make him one. Someone suggested I should call it Man ‘O War after the famous race horse. Apparently, upon his death, they buried his head, his heart and his hooves in a memorial to him. Appropriate?
