Trial By Fire September 8-30th at George Fox University in Newberg, OR. The reception is on Tuesday, Septmeber 8th from 5-6:30pm with an atist’s talk happening at 4pm. There are 4 artists in the show, Landry Deese, Ruri, David C Lewis and myself, although I might be the only one giving the lecture before the show- now how did that happen… I’m nervous already and am wondering how I get roped into these things….
Art Harvest Studio Tour!!! The first 2 weekends in October (2,3,4 and 9,10,11) the private studios of 40 artists in Yamhill County are open to the public including mine. Check out the website for maps, catalogs, participating artists and more. I share my studio with Landry Deese and we plan to have a plenty of new work, snacks, refreshments and ourselves! Landry is also firing his kiln during the first weekend, a sight to behold, as it gets to 2400 degrees! Hope you can make it!
